– 1 box Yellow Cake Mix – 1 (3.4oz) small box Vanilla Instant Pudding  – ½ cup All purpose flour (61g) – ¾ cup light brown sugar  – 1 teaspoon 4g baking powder – ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon (1.5g) – ½ teaspoon salt (3g) – 1 ½ teaspoon vanilla extract (6g) – ¾ cup vegetable oil (160g or 5.5 oz) – 3 egg – 1¼ cup mashed bananas  – 4 oz milk – 4 oz rum – ½ cup Pecans, chopped (52g) – 1 cup Sugar (200g) – 1 stick Unsalted butter (113g) – ¼ cup Water (61g) – ¼ cup Rum (61g)

Turn the oven on to 325 degrees F and grease and flour a bundt pan. For more information on size, see the notes.Putting the chopped nuts on the bottom of the pan after it's been ready.

Mix the dry ingredients for the cake mix, vanilla pudding mix, flour, light brown sugar, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt in a bowl. Mix with a whisk.

This is where you add the eggs, vegetable oil, milk, rum, vanilla extract, and mashed bananas. If you're using a stand mixer, connect the paddle to the mixer and start mixing the ingredients on low speed for about 15 to 20 seconds, until they are well blended.

After that, turn the speed up to medium and mix for two minutes. If you need to, scrape the bowl's sides and bottom. The batter is going to be thin.

Pour or scoop the batter into the bundt pan. Bake for 50 to 55 minutes, or until a toothpick or wooden stick comes out clean or with only a few crumbs stuck to it.

Bake times can be different, so check on the cake around the 45-minute mark and make any necessary changes.Make the glaze in the last 15 minutes of baking.

Combine the ingredients for the glaze (sugar, butter, water, and rum) in a saucepan and mix them together over low heat until the butter has melted.

Raise the temperature to reach a medium level and stir the mixture often until it starts to boil.(Take care, because if you don't stir it, it could cause it to boil over.)

Boil for three minutes, then take the pot off the heat.When the cake is removed from the oven while it is still in the pan, this glaze will be poured over the cake immediately after the cake has cooked.

Allow the cake to sit for fifteen minutes after pouring the heated glaze over it while it is still in the pan.After fifteen minutes have passed, and the glaze has been absorbed, set your cake plate or pedestal inverted against the cake pan.

After that, flip everything together so that the cake plate is now lying on its right side and the pan is on top of it. The cake can be seen once the can pan has been removed.
